| 產品介紹 | This gene encodes the alpha chain of type X collagen, a short chain collagen expressed by hypertrophic chondrocytes during endochondral ossification. Unlike type VIII collagen, the other short chain collagen, type X collagen is a homotrimer. Mutations in this gene are associated with Schmid type metaphyseal chondrodysplasia (SMCD) and Japanese type spondylometaphyseal dysplasia (SMD). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. SWISS: A1L4P2 Gene ID: 1300 Ⅹ型膠原是一種短鏈的非纖維性膠原，正常存在于軟骨化骨中心及骨骺軟骨生長板內，僅見于軟骨細胞肥大區(qū)及鈣化區(qū)前沿，在關節(jié)軟骨見于鈣化軟骨層，由肥大軟骨細胞特異表達，只短暫出現(xiàn)，可能參與軟骨鈣化的調節(jié)，是正常和異常骨形成的標志。 有學者認為：Ⅹ型膠原在骨性關節(jié)病中可作為軟骨細胞表型不可逆轉的診斷標志 ，是大量關節(jié)軟骨細胞發(fā)生凋亡，最終導致關節(jié)軟骨變薄，關節(jié)下骨變硬、增厚的主要原因。 |
